WINDSOR CHARITY POLO CUP COMMEMORATIVE ARTWORK
by Jeaneen Barnhart
Windsor continues its tradition this year of choosing an artist to produce an original artwork for the Windsor Charity Polo Cup. For 2024, the event Steering Committee selected Jeaneen Barnhart, who created an inspiring work featuring a polo pony thundering across the field with the player in mid-swing.

Jeaneen Barnhart’s finished charcoal and pastel drawings, loose oil paintings and quick studies focus on figurative and equine anatomy. Works on both paper and canvas showcase her expressive style and careful attention to detail. Movement, energy, and speed are all captured in her equine pieces.

On display in the Clubhouse foyer, Barnhart’s beautifully framed 18” by 26” work, created with charcoal and pastel, will be auctioned off at the Charity Polo Cup luncheon. A special limited-edition signed print will be available for purchase at the event in the Specialty Retail Village. The artist will also host a pop-up gallery in the Retail Village where a selection of works will be available for purchase. A percentage of all sales will go to the event’s charities.

Bidding starts at $750. Contact Debbie Bochte at 772 388 8400 or debbie.bochte@windsorflorida.com with any questions.
About Jeaneen
Born in 1967 in Miami, Fla., Barnhart began painting at an early age along with her twin sister, Doreen. The girls were, no doubt, influenced by their creative grandparents who were professional musicians, songwriters, and illustrators.
Soon after receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alfred University in 1992, Barnhart joined her sister in Louisville, Ky., where they partnered on many projects including five official Kentucky Derby Festival posters, a PGA Golf Experience poster, and a 2010 commemorative Kentucky Derby bottle for Woodford Reserve Bourbon. Barnhart also has been licensed to create an ongoing collection of powerful drawings depicting the 1973 Triple Crown champion Secretariat, the most recognized name in thoroughbred racing. Most recently, her art was featured on the 2020 Maker's Mark/Keeneland Commemorative bottle label for the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.

In her free time, she loves to be outdoors fishing or spending time at the beach. Whenever the opportunity arises, she retreats to her cozy haven in North Palm Beach, Fla., to indulge in moments of tranquil relaxation.
