Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi of Melbourne Continues Commitment to the Biennial Windsor Charity Polo Cup

Windsor is excited to announce that Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi of Melbourne, will be returning as the Luxury Automobile Sponsor of the 2024 Windsor Charity Polo Cup taking place on the Windsor polo grounds on Saturday, February 17th, 2024. The luxury car dealership has generously supported the event since 2014.

As the event’s Luxury Automobile Sponsor, each of the notable car brands’ top luxury models will be on display at the highly anticipated Player Reception Cocktail Party, taking place the night before the match on February 16th, 2024, at Windsor’s Beach Club. On match day, the luxury car dealership will have on-site presence within a field-side hospitality tent, showcasing a selection of its most sought-after models.

“We are delighted to once again be part of the Windsor Charity Polo Cup,” says Shay Rowe, Owner and General Manager at Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi of Melbourne, Florida. “Our partnership with this fabulous event started back in 2014. Not only are all the beneficiaries very worthwhile but this day always proves to be one of the best and most fun on the calendar.”

As a highlight during the polo match, sponsor representatives will drive a selection of cars onto the field to deliver the players pre-match and will return to the field during the iconic half-time Divot Stomp. In addition, members of the Space Coast Region of Porsche Club of America will display more than 30 cars from vintage to the latest models at an adjacent Concours where guests can vote for their People’s Choice award.

“We are immensely grateful for Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi of Melbourne’s longstanding partnership and support of our event charities,” said Jane Smalley, Windsor Marketing Director and the event’s Sponsorship Co-Chair. “The superior collection of luxury cars displayed field side has become an exciting and much-anticipated feature of the event.”

Presented by PNC Bank, the Windsor Charity Polo Cup is recognized as the premier charity sporting event of the season in Vero Beach. The 2024 event will raise funds for three local charities – the Homeless Children’s Foundation of Indian River County, Ballet Vero Beach, and the Indian River Land Trust. The charities selected all offer programs to support the basic, educational and enrichment needs of underprivileged children, and to protect the area’s land for the health and wellbeing of future generations.

In addition to world-class polo, the 2024 Windsor Charity Polo Cup will showcase an array of interactive events and exhibitions including an elegant luncheon, themed tailgate, specialty retail village, luxury automobile concours and a high-end raffle.

About Windsor

Established in 1989, Windsor is a private residential sporting club community spanning 472 acres of lush barrier island between the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean in Vero Beach, Florida. In the early 1990s, W. Galen Weston and the Hon. Hilary M. Weston of Toronto, Canada visited South Florida in search of a winter home for themselves and their children. In Vero Beach they became enchanted by a property that over the next decades would become a cherished home, passion project and ultimately a critically acclaimed residential community. Windsor was designed by renowned town planners Andrés Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk in the New Urbanism style of residential living. It offers public and community spaces framed by timeless architecture and landscape design that celebrates its tropical and unspoiled setting. Windsor is comprised of 350 homesites in various styles, including village homes, cottages and country estates, all remarkable for their signature Anglo-Caribbean architecture and gracious living. Residents enjoy privacy and seclusion combined with the finest amenities, exemplary services and sporting activities.  Windsor is embarking on its final development phase with the launch of the North Village, a 47-acre neighborhood featuring 40 residences, new and enhanced amenities and a heightened commitment to sustainability. windsorflorida.com
